Does anybody know if this is true only in GTK shipped with Ubuntu or is it with all GTK?
Some notes: I noticed that resizing Thunar windows is faster if you use the default location toolbar, the one with the buttons. Using the location bar where you can type in the location is slower. Window resizing seems to be the biggest issue, although not the only one. Firefox: switching between tabs seems very slow. At first I thought that it was an issue with Gecko, but then again, FF is very fast on Windows and OS X, so it must be something Ubuntu (X11?) specific. -- gtk+ apps slowness https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/38873 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
