A. adapt the webpage https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archivemirrors of the official archive mirrors (and if possible https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mirrors), since all the mirrors from this webpage were recognised as "UNKNOWN mirror", thus were commented out during the dist-upgrade, and no distupgrade was performed as a result.
