Here's my kern.log, from boot to freeze. It's the 2.6.25 kernel so my wifi hardware doesn't actually work; those messages are unrelated to this issue.
I was thinking, are we sure this is a kernel krash? There is no core dump, and nothing in the logs. Could it possibly be the scheduler messing up somehow and not ever running any userland processes?
