Public bug reported: problem: apparently the copy-protection is broken on 64 bit. Applying a nocd-crack fixes things. This isn't needed on i386 though; there it all works out of the box. I'm not sure if that's a regression, because I have no experience with 64 bit, but I assume this will affect more applications than just Tomb Raider Anniversary.
Indeed after I applied a nocd crack by obtaining TRA.exe alternative the game plays. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=797342 ** Affects: wine (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wine Game install: copy-protection is broken on 64 bit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231438 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
