Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnumeric

This is gnumeric (1.7.11-1ubuntu3.1) on Gutsy. There is an error when entering
negative values in a formula in R1C1 notation.
To reproduce, open a new worksheet, enter:

5 RET
= <up> - 10 RET

Now A1 contains 5 and B1 contains -5.
Now switch to R1C1 mode, and overwrite R2C1 with the same formula:

= <up> - 10 RET

You get an error "invalid expression". To work around this, you have to
enter:

= <up> + - 10 RET

** Affects: gnumeric (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
