Switching to 2.6.25-1.2ubuntu3(with 2.6.25-1.1 modules) fixed this problem for me. I lost sound(intel hd) with newer modules so I'm sticking with this version. This problem occurred 2-4 times a day when using bluetooth(3g). I suspect this might have had something to do with the fact that bt adapter I have has a hardware bug that causes it to crash once in a while. Glad I got out of this hell.
