Liferea was updated so they may have added this as a feature. I did not understand at first and I had installed Hardy fresh but had a seperate home partition so I was using the old config, then I exported the feed list and I deleted the config to see if it was an error. after reinporting the feed list it was still there so I am glad I found this.
