I've just installed hardy 64 bits on a Dell T7400- Intel Xeon E5430
(2.66GHz,1333FSB,2x6MB,Quad Core), and when I press any key in any
application, the app crashes...

Here you can see that the remote desktop viewer, nautilus and evolution
have crashed as soon as I have pressed a key...
