Hi Richie.

Have you edited /etc/default/dbmail to specify which services to start,
like the example below ?

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /etc/default/dbmail 
START_IMAPD=1
START_LMTPD=1
START_SIEVE=1
----------

The variables you can define here is:

START_IMAPD
START_POP3D
START_LMTPD
START_SIEVE

I had to look in the init script to figure out how to enable the
services
