it only fails with scd0 (scsi or sata) devices. The point is that konq opens while the cd content is read, and once reading is over, konqueror folder content doesn't refresh. It works correctly with PATA cd drives, usb keys or any other kind of media, so I would suspect a kernel/inotify issue.
