*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 23369 *** I appreciate your kind and calm response to my jumpy one, but I'm affraid you still miss the point of this report. The program being discussed has it's menu entry in Gnome's System->Preferences. Thus, it is natural the user will expect it to work "System" wide (Firefox is only an example). As we know - it doesn't actually do that. IOW, it doesn't fulfill the function it suggests it would fulfill. Thus, either fix it to perform the function it should perform, according to it's context, or, if that's impossible, remove it from System->Preferences.
