The problem persist in 8.04. Thins that I've notice recently 1.- gnome-power-bugreport.sh reports (AC adapter present: yes) when the ac cable is unplugged 2.- Just few secunds before the laptop turn off the estimated remaining time graph raise up like a "charge recovered"
