Thank you for your bug report. If you want to always load a module at 
boot-time, you can add its name to /etc/modules, see also modules(5) (view with 
`man 5 modules`).
The idea of a gui would be debatable: if you really need to hand-compile 
modules, editing a configuration file wouldn't be too daunting, I presume. 
Maybe some documentation about it would be useful. But there are thoughts about
