Public bug reported:
Default install of Ubuntu 8.04 on Dell C400 laptop.
Laptop freezes (docked or not) every time while Visual Effects are set
to Normal. Sometimes freeze happens with no applications open and only
opening gnome's panel menus, sometimes with Firefox, and sometimes with
terminal as foreground app.
Always happens in 1 to 5 minutes after boot.
In Ubuntu 7.10, this did not happen.
