Public bug reported:

Looked at some previous bugs, but they are out-of-date so I think this
problem is the new bug.

Some sources of the bug :

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04, upgraded from Ubuntu 7.10, which I previously
used.

Well, simply put, in Ubuntu 7.10, you just need to open Nautilus, press
Ctrl + L, type in "smb://LAN IP" then ALL the shared stuffs (files,
folders...) will be displayed and ready, however, in Ubuntu 8.04, after
typing in "smb://LAN IP", all you get is nothing in Nautilus. What you
have to do is to add the full name of the shared folder right after the
LAN IP to make it look like "smb://LAN IP/SharedFolder".

What is annoying about this is, when you share a LAN with others, and
you frequently need to access their remote PCs but you have to ask for
the name/path of the shared files/folders in order to access.

Please get this fixed as soon as possible.
Thanks
