Hello, I can confirm this bug. Hardy Heron thinks my original WG511 card is a softmac card (which uses the p54 driver), when it fact it is a hardmac card, which uses the prism54 driver.
Here is the relevant dmesg output when the (incorrect) p54 driver is loaded: [ 88.629267] cs: IO port probe 0xa00-0xaff: clean. [ 90.104775] PCI: Enabling device 0000:02:00.0 (0000 -> 0002) [ 90.104821] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:00.0[A] -> Link [LNKA] -> GSI 11 (lev el, low) -> IRQ 11 [ 90.104871] PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:02:00.0 to 64 [ 91.651421] p54: LM86 firmware [ 91.651445] p54: FW rev 2.7.0.0 - Softmac protocol 4.1 [ 91.778047] phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'simple' [ 92.162754] phy0: hwaddr 00:09:5b:98:3a:72, isl3890 ...
