Just to follow up on the comments in bug #125088, "I think XSane puts some size controls inside the postscript data that overrides my -sPAPERSIZE=a4 option. If I edit the ps file, and changes the occurrence of "letter" to "a4" like in: 594 706 /letter setpagesize and then do ps2pdf, I get an A4 pdf..."
