Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I have a Acer Aspire 3003 LMi using edgy (and recently updated).
When running with the power "unplugged" the battery meter only seems to have 2
levels 100% and 0%.
If I unplugg the power at 100% and runs unplugged for a while (like 15 minutes
or so) the battery meter drops to 0% without going through any other levels.
This also effects the calculated time left.
If I then plug in the power again the meter shows a accurate value like 32% for
example.

As it is now I have to remember for how long I have been running
unplugged to know when to shut down or get "plugged".

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
