Hi Leann Periodic the wireless adapter can't scan for networks, dmesg gives this:
dmesg | grep iwl PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:0b:00.0 to 64 iwl3945: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection wmaster0: Selected rate control algorithm 'iwl-3945-rs' A manuel scan will give no results. If I run without 'noapic' as a boot option it will fail every time I boot. When it works I see the following in dmesg: dmesg | grep iwl iwl3945: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG/BG Network Connection driver for Linux, 1.2.25 iwl3945: Copyright(c) 2003-2007 Intel Corporation iwl3945: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection wmaster0: Selected rate control algorithm 'iwl-3945-rs' iwl3945: Tunable channels: 13 802.11bg, 23 802.11a channels Registered led device: iwl-phy0:RX Registered led device: iwl-phy0:TX So from my point of view, there still are some bugs that need ironing out. -- iwl3945 can't wake up Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945 mini card https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/203329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
