Intel 3945 wireless is not working in hardy, nor is the wireless LED. I have a Dell D820 with the 3945ABG chip, followed the same exact step-by- step install for Hardy that I did for Gutsy, and out of the box the laptop will not associate with any APs. i've requested elsewhere that the solution somehow be integrated into an automatic update so that newcomers to Ubuntu don't get turned off to the distro because this overwhelmingly popular WiFi chip doesn't work and requires intermediate skill level procedures to fix.
