If you are using libgpod 0.3.2-1-1build1 you must have something in
$(IPOD_MOUNT_POINT)/iPod_Control/Device/SysInfo ... aka, it cannot be
empty. Today, on edgy, we are still using libgpod 0.3.2-1-1build1.

If libgpod (>= 0.4) is included into edgy, then the empty SysInfo
problem will no longer apply.

You will often get an empty SysInfo file when upgrading your iPod's
firmware to 1.2.x.

(Please correct me if I am wrong, no garantee that the attached example SysInfo
file will work for you, or that it won't break you iPod... aka, I'm not
responsible for any damages incurred :D )

** Summary changed:

- Amarok crashes on iPod connection
+ Amarok crashes when setting media device to iPod
