Re: jruby0.9 vs. jruby1.0 β this is what Debian ships. The distinction is most probably because JRuby 1.0 was not 100% compatible with 0.9.
As for packaging JRuby 1.1.1 as either new version of jruby1.0 or as jruby1.1 β contacting the Debian maintainer (Sebastien Delafond <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) and asking for their plans would be most sensible, but otherwise both approaches are ok IMHO (JRuby 1.1 should be backward- compatible with 1.0, not sure itβs worth having a separate package for it β on the other hand, having a jruby1.0 package that is in fact JRuby 1.1 might be a bit misleading for some). -- New upstream version available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215572 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
