I think think may be the same issue. Anyway, I'm having the same problem with a Maxtor Shared Storage drive. I have updated to the latest fimware (2.6.2) but it did not correct the issue. I can copy and paste fine from this drive using Gusty, but I haven't been able to since upgrading to Hardy. I only get the message when trying to copy a folder. Copying files works fine.
