I have got the same problem as LordFarquaad (and same codecs, too. do you also have Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi 1505?). I've tried a lot of the options but they all were quiet useless (although kmixer always looked a bit different). Sound was there but mixing was not possible, neither Master nor PCM and "alsamixer" showed an error. After a-m there was no sound at all. Today's new kernel made sound working again but mixer is still useless.
