Sorry for the delay in testing Hardy Heron. Tried to boot using the Live CD and it failed to install. After splash screen, drops into Busy Box and displays the same errors reported above: [41.108000] ata2.00: failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x4) [41.108000] ata2.00: revalidation failed (errno=-5)
I have a very old DELL XPS T600, and looks like other people with DELLs are having similar problems. I have tried all suggested boot options, but none of them work.
