Things stopped with "Backing up any LVM2 metadata that may exist..." and now same situation as "floid". Maybe it works - may be not. Just would like to tell before I reboot.
Unfortunately I do not have enough insight to add anything wise here. Just wanted to say that the problem still exists (My system: 32bit, i386, AMD 1GHz).
