Public bug reported:

Using Ubuntu 8.04 Alternate AMD64 installation on system with 1.5 TB
3ware HW RAID 5 setup.

Selected auto partition using encrypted LVM. Installation proceeded
normally.

Upon reboot I find installer created an LVM swap area of 499 GB with the
remainder going to LVM ROOT.

This is a big waste of space and time since there is no display of final
configs to check prior to going through the
rest of the install.

I've used encrypted LVM setup just fine with default settings on my other
systems but they all have relatively
small disks. I'm guessing that the large disk area is causing math problems in
the installer.

I've gone through this twice on my system to confirm that I wasn't imagining
it. I was able to use manual partitioning
and setup a reasonable system with 64 GB swap so there is a work around.
