I hear what you are saying and appreciate the feedback and
explanation... HOWever, this is one reason most M$ users are relunctant
to switch. Everytime there is a bug related to user experience, all we
get is that it's not ubuntu, it's (fill in the blank). Another example
would be the bug where window positions aren't remembered and all we get
is that it's not Ubuntu, it's the problem of (name of program).

Let me just close in saying that although I love trying Ubuntu, and
Linux has come a long way, there is soooo much room for improvement on
some basic functionalities. Until those issues are addressed,
competitiveness is null since we don't feel it's stable, we are always
wondering if something is going to work every time we use it, and we are
always questioning the ability of the OS to retain and preserve our
personal data.

Do not misunderstand me, I am fairly tech-savvy and would like nothing
more than to dump M$, but for now, M$ works everytime and at best,
Ubuntu can only be a hobby.

Best of luck, and I do look forward to each and every release to see if
you got it down yet.
