Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release?

Regarding your particular issue, you should use powertop to watch what
consuming your battery ( you need to upgrade to gutsy or hardy to be
able to use it)

Other suggestions:
- add this in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-power
blacklist uvcvideo # isight
blacklist hci_usb # bluetooth
blacklist ndiswrapper # wlan

- follow the instructions at http://www.linuxpowertop.org/known.php
- added Option "NoDRI" to xorg.conf if you don't use 3D
- Workaround for a powernowd pb. In /etc/rc.local, put (before exit 0):
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate_max >
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate
- Apply patch for appletouch
- Removed the volume applet.

A MacBook can reach more than 3hours under Ubuntu.

Thanks in advance.
