A kern.log from someone else who's experiencing the same bug: http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/9250/
My brother's laptop doesn't crash as often anymore like it used to do. Sometimes it doesn't crash at all or it takes quite a while. It happens most often when programs like apt-get or synaptic are running, although he says it has also happened when Firefox 3 beta 5 was running. It seems that almost everytime the computer freezes(also in the other case) gdm has produces a segfault. I think it has something to do with that, should I assign it to that package? -- Ubuntu freezes randomly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224782 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
