Public bug reported: Kubuntu 8.04 with latest updates is clean-installed on Thinkpad T60 with ATI x1300 graphic card. Using the proprietary ATI driver (8-4) but also using the vesa driver, when Xorg is started and hit CTRL+Alt+Backspace it logs out and everything is fine. But if I start Firefox, GIMP or any other GTK application and hit Ctrl+alt+backspace or execute /etc/init.d/kdm restart, Xorg stucks and can't see what is going on. Can't get the logs, Nothing works, EXCEPT CTRL+Alt+Delete. Then after I restart the system, Xorg starts fine...
