Hi I thought I have managed to fix the suspend issues by using the acpi-support script that Andy pointed out http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14044012/acpi-support . I've tried that script and resuming from suspend no longer crashes computer. However, the successful resume happens only once in 5 times. Most of the time, I have X server restarting and asking me to login again.
