I had this error message with the 3 versions of Ubuntu I got: Feisty, Gutsy, and now Hardy. But my machine is a desktop. I can stop the message coming up by including ' noapic ' in the kernel line, but I do not thing it is good... For info here is the first attach. file uname -a
