I noticed that the help page for Thunderbird actually loads up a webpage
in the web browser. Do you have the symptoms of bug 192513? (Hyperlinks
don't open with Thunderbird) That would be the most logical conclusion
as to what went wrong.
Does the workaround presented in comments 15 and 17 for that bug work
for you?
