I still get a delay with today's update from hardy-proposed when I click on the date applet while my Google Calendar is enabled. If I disable Google, intlclock opens immediately. To confirm I also removed and readded the Google Calendar. The delay seems to be shorter than before the update, though. Another problem is that the dates in Google are not summarised under Appointments in the applet (but show up in the form of bold days in the calendar), whereas local calendar dates are. This is on amd64.
