Bug #176090 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/176090), wireless LED not
working with iwl3945, is already fixed in linux-backports-modules-hardy.
However,
the LED behavior is not perfect because it does not blink on traffic. The
blinking
works with proprietary driver ipw3945.
For reference, my machine is a Dell Vostro 1400.
