Hi Leann I have made a clean installation of Hardy 8.04, and installed the linux- backports-modules-2.6.24 package.
modinfo gives version 1.2.25 First thing I noticed was that the wifi LED now works, cool.. :-) I wil try experiment with warm and cold boots during the next week or so, then I will post my findings here.
