Howdy! I have the same issue, but with some interesting additions.
So my laptop is an nx6110, with a Pentium M processor. Suspend works fine, but many a time resume results in a blank screen (I think its still off), the hard disk light glows for some 10 seconds steadily and then nothing happens. Even at this seemingly crashed state I can resume by pressing the power button many times: (it seems I have to press the power button for some 1 second and then leave it) after some three-four trials, voila -- it resumes! This is *not* a hardware issue, since it works fine with gutsy and some older kernels (it breaks between 2.6.24-5 and 2.6.24-7) Please let me know what kind of debug information should I get you, and how to get it!
