Hi again, I was using totem-gstreamer. I just installed totem-xine and gave that a try and I have skipping in that app too. Interestingly enough, I was watching the graphs in System Monitor, and every time the music skips, the scrolling in System Monitor stops, consistently with the music. The skipping does not always correspond with 100% CPU usage, although I see higher CPUutilization than I did under Gutsy (ususally 60-80%, with Firefox and whatever music player I'm using taking up the most). If this bug should be transported over to another package, let me know how to do that.
