Thanks for your work on that, could you try to run evolution-data-server using G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly and maybe try to get a valgrind log as explained on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind? You can run evolution --force-shutdown to stop the running instance and then start a new one
