Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-notifier
Steps ran: 1. log in. 2. The update notifier shows me a yellow triangle. If I place the mouse over a tooltip displays the following message: "update information is outdated". 3. Double click on the applet, the "Update Manager" dialog appears and displays something like: "Your system is up-to-date" "The package information was last updated 24 days ago". 4. click Check What happens Nothing. Both messages stay the same. Expected The applet "outdated" message disappears. The message in Update Manager dialog also disappears. I've had this issue for several weeks now. ** Affects: update-notifier (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- "update information is outdated" displayed while Check has been performed lately https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223505 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
