My sound card still doesn't work I update to hardy 8.04 final with both kernels -generic and -rt and I have the same message in dmesg
[ 56.177603] HDA Intel: probe of 0000:00:1b.0 failed with error -16 I have compile the kernel 2.6.23 from kernel.org and the sound works fine. But with the version 2.6.24 and 2.6.25 I still have the same bug.
