Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
Full upgrade, from cdromupgrade script on kubuntu 7.10 dvd. Stalls at "file 51 of 54", and restarts several times. Finally reports "Error during update" "Failed to fetch http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/dists/feisty/free/binary-i386/Packages.gz 302 Found Failed to fetch http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/dists/feisty/non-free/binary-i386/Packages.gz 302 Found Failed to fetch http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/dists/feisty/free/source/Sources.gz 302 Found Failed to fetch http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/dists/feisty/non-free/source/Sources.gz 302 Found" Expected to complete upgrade, but apparently kubuntu packages are not available. NB: The same problem occurs (only against different repositories, but same packages) when using "Adept Manager" to upgrade to new Version. Stall occurs at various files (51 of 54, 26 of 34, and others), with same result of packages and sources returning "302 Found" [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 7.04 Release: 7.04 ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- error during update kubuntu 7.04 to kubuntu 7.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
