I have the same problem with Guild Wars and Sim City 4. With GW I just get a black screen, no sound. And with SC4 I can hear the background music plus the menu sounds when I move the mouse over them, I just cant see anything.
If I remove the restricted video card driver (fglrx) I can see the images in Sim City (have not tried playing with it), and in Guild Wars I can see something but its very slow.
