I previously installed ubuntu (and kubuntu) 7.10 on my HP Pavilion Z7000 laptop
with no problems.
I tried to run 8.04 but it does not work; in gets only as far as the "ubuntu"
logo with a progress bar. This progress bar freezes after only 2 "blocks" and
from then the computer is non-responsive.
This happens no matter how I try to use 8.04: i.e. from live CD, trying a fresh
install and trying to upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 in both Ubuntu and Kubuntu.
