Now I removed ndiswrapper and compiled compat-wireless-2.6 from http://linuxwireless.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/compat-wireless-2.6.tar.bz2 I have to say that this is also an option, instead of using linux-2.6.25 you keep the ubuntu kernel, and only update the wireless stack. I have to say that now it works really well.
