It seems that this issue is not completely solved: I've just executed a liveCD session of kubuntu desktop KDE4 8.04 (final) in my laptop and the problem is still present. Tomorrow I'll test the KDE3 kubuntu and ubuntu versions, but probably it will also happen.
Should this bug report be reopened, or it is better to open a new one?
