The guide at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KvmVirtManagerEtc instructs us to
do:

$ virt-manager -c qemu:///system

Adding my username to the libvirtd group and initializing my view of
qemu (with the above command), all network configuration works as
expected.

The need to type in this command is counter-intuitive for the users. Two
simple enhancements would solve this bug:

1. Provide a UI for the user to add themselves to system groups 'kvm,libvirtd'
2. Provide a UI for the user to run virt-manager and connect to qemu:///system

I understand using the terminal to enter commands from a guide for
advanced settings. These are basic settings which should have GUI
accessibility.
