Not against a definition of desktop environment but this definition is
innaccurate and we should avoid the use of the word server. A "desktop
environment provides a standardised set of widgets and a window manager"
would be simpler. Generic definitions of DE tend to err on the side of
covering everything from GUI to applications - there are still a number
of us who prefer to use only a window manager.

I can see why you would want to include a command line version, however
it is best that we stick to the use of synaptic for cohesion across the
documentation. Such a link would arguably be more useful in the server
guide or in reference to alternate installs.
