Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

Pidgin has been crashing lately for no apparent reason. I have detected no
pattern as of yet.
I got this error out of my system log every time it happens

 lappy kernel: [ 5451.659894] pidgin[8987]: segfault at 00000000 eip
b76af283 esp bfca15f8 error 4

It occurs maybe once every few hours.
I am running Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 currently and version 2.4.1 of Pidgin.

If you need any more information please ask.
